I’ve fished kingfisher 3 times now over the last 2 months and to be honest, at first found it a difficult lake but from the pics and what other regular anglers were telling me this was a lake not to give up on, and boy am i glad i didn’t!
Last weekend produced one of the moments of my life. I smashed my previous PB (18lb) with a lovely 28.6lb mirror and moments after netting that one, my other rod tore off and produced a 29.6lb common! As you can imagine I was speechless and I have to say a special thanks to the bailiff Calum as without his help I’m not sure how I would have managed with 2 on the bank at the same time.
Overall this is a fantastic fishery, very clean, super facilities, peaceful, very helpful staff and most importantly has beautiful, hard fighting fish. Couldn’t recommend more.
