Fished Kingfisher Lake, early April &….WOW…what a place! Whilst sorting out the booking (with the lovely Joanne), I made it known I was bringing a client & suppliers rep with me (firm’s corporate event), so asked if we could have swims close together…..social! Not a problem, swims reserved & even a picnic table put centrally for us to use. We were met by the bailiff, on arrival, who asked if we would like our gear transported to the swims. By the time we were set up, breakfast was in order. Joanne had the cook house open, so ordered & was told they would be delivered to our swims……very nice touch, thank you. Throughout our stay, we had our meals on site, all beautifully cooked & presented….and delivered. Dave…..thank you for taking me into Paddock Wood for food on Joanne’s day off……you, sir, are a gent. The swims are large & laid with bark chippings…..helping to keep everything mostly clean, even in the worst weather. The pathways are gravelled, making access to the swims a doddle. The bailiffs are always popping around the lakes, making sure that you are all OK, offering tips, having a general chat & a bit of banter. The fish we managed to bank were hard fighting & in pristine condition. Murphy…..you are a legend …….little legs that don’t stop trotting round the lakes…so friendly! On top of all this, the toilet & shower rooms ( shower use F.O.C.) are nice & clean……I’m sure, in the main, that is because, nice people attract likewise. The rest room with table, chairs, fridge, vending machine, TV & charging points is an added benefit & very much appreciated. Absolutely loved our time here & will definitely be returning (I’m back in June on another carp group social)…..can’t wait! To everyone @ Mousehole……. Wishing you continued success. THANK YOU.
